Left home at 8:00 AM and drove about 500 miles to Pensacola Fl. We are traveling with our friend Jerry and Reva. They have a 26 foot Four Winds trailer. It was quite windy for the last 2 hours of the day. In addition to that it's a cross wind which gave Jerry a hard time. Glad to say the Dodge gave us 13.5 miles per gallon pulling our 28 foot Airstream. Hope this holds up. /David
We decided to take a different route due to the storms that were coming across Georgia. We hope to only catch the tail end of those storms. So we took 75 to 27 and then ended up on 10. We went through Oldtown, Turkeytown and Niceville. Saw a few wild turkeys but not in Turkeytown. Not sure what tomorrow will bring, but we hope it will be sunny and calm winds. Want to take bets when we change from shorts to long pant and sweatshirts!!!!!/Marilyn
