Fort Nelson to Watson Lake

We drove from Fort Nelson to Watson Lake Yk., some 325 miles. We drove through the mountains and seen a ton of wildlife.  It was great.  It will be cold tonight, not sure how low the temp will go, we will see tomorrow. David
We left home two weeks ago today and have driven 4496 miles.   We are now in some pretty dense forest region.  We stopped at mile marker DC 335 .7 and it is very fogging near Steamboat Mt.  Stone sheep are frequently sighted in this area – we learned that they are darker and somewhat slighter than the bighorn sheep.  Dave saw a bunch on the side of the mountain.  We stopped and got out of the car and used the binoculars.  They looked like little white rocks until the rocks started to move.  We saw several caribou in the road; in fact we stopped twice until they moved.  Down the road, we saw buffalo and bison.  Unbelievable beauty, with the lakes, mountains and wild life.  I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.  Oh, the other thing we encountered today was snow and sleet.  I can do without that tomorrow.  As we were at the Summit today, the highest point on the Alaskan Highway, it was snowing there too./Marilyn
