May 25, 2011- Our last day in Homer, Alaska. We took another ride through town to make sure that we saw and did everything we wanted too. We started to get our trailers ready for our travels tomorrow. It was a calm and non windy day so David flew his little plane off and on all day. We went to the Alaska Island & Ocean Visitors center and gathered a few more postcards for the kids. I really liked the Bald Eagle until I read about them. They are mean, mean, mean. It’s still a fascinating place and the spectacular facts of the island and birds were well worth the adventure. We kicked back and read a few books and facts about Alaska and are ready to venture out tomorrow./Marilyn
