We drove from Watson Lake to Skagway AK. today some 325 miles. I know I am going to wear out the adjectives but the scenery was spectacular. Each turn in the road brought something that was greater than the last. It was truly awesome. David
We are so excited to be in Alaska. When we leave tomorrow to go to Anchorage, we have to go back into Canada for about 300 miles. The Mountains were fabulous. We must have stopped no more than a dozen times to take additional pictures besides the ones that we took from the car. We shot 360 photos today, most of them we are keeping. Bet you can’t wait to come to our house for a photo review!!!!
We saw five porcupines today. I only saw one when I was a kid. We didn’t see any other animals today. One bald eagle and a few ducks. We saw the Disney Cruise Ship when we came into town. We will do a little more sightseeing tomorrow morning before we leave here./Marilyn
