Lincoln to Valentine Nebraska

After two days of great hospitality at Tricia and Jeff''s, we are back on the road.  Tricia made the
lasagna, along with chicken alfredo.  She beat me twice at Mexican Train, not so sure I will play with her again.  We went to Omaha to Cabela's and we all purchased a little bit of something and then headed back.  We decided to take Tricia and Jeff out to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse.  Once we were back we packed a few things and then Jeff started to make Sticky Buns.  OMG!!  We then had the sticky buns for breakfast and he made us each a big plate of them to go.  We started out about 8:00a.m.  I couldn't believe how fast we could drive.  75mph.  We didn't drive that fast but just knowing you could was awesome.  It's 48 degrees.  Chilly!!!! We saw a few Buffalo and --- are in Muzzle loading zone.  Bet you have a hard time believing that.  LOL   Lots of farmland and the farmers are plowing and getting the fields ready.  We're turning onto 83 and heading toward Valentine, NE.  We're now in Cattle and horse ranching country.  Some cowboys or ranchers use horses to round up their cattle, others use 4 wheelers.    Modern times!!!!  We stopped at Valentine, NE for the night and travelled 300 miles.  Nebraska is known as the Cornhusker State and the largest city is Omaha.  We are about 5 or 6 miles from South Dakota./Marilyn
